BP Castrol Lubricants (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is committed to protecting your privacy. We provide this Privacy Statement to inform you about the type of information we collect from you during the CASTROL RX FIFA WORLD CUP SMART CHALLENGE SMS & WIN Contest [“Contest”]and how we use that information. This Contest is governed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of your participation in the Contest.

The Contest is owned by BP Castrol Lubricants (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd registered in the Malaysia, Level 6, Menara Maxis, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur (165875-W).

Collection of Personal Information

We endeavor to collect personal data about you only with your knowledge and consent. Personal data is information that could identify a specific individual such as name, addresses, IC numbers, , and telephone numbers (“Personal Information”).

When you provide us with Personal Information it will be used, to communicate with you for the same purpose or for any other purposes stated at the time at which the data is collected and subject to any preferences indicated by you at the time.

For example, if you participate in this contest, we will collect and use your IC Number, Mobile Number and other contact details such as Name, Mailing Address, Outlet Name (for Trade Participants only) and Outlet Address (for Trade Participants only) only for the purpose of sending you information on the current Contest and future information, product or services that we think may be of interest to you after the Contest and where a fee is payable for a service or product we will also use your information for billing and payment collection purposes.

Data Retention

Data is held for the purposes of this current contest and for future information, product or services that we think may be of interest to you after the Contest after which time it is anonymised. We do not collect any additional information about you other than that outlined above.

How your Personal Information is kept accurate and up to date?

We are committed to ensuring that your Personal Information is kept accurate and up to date at all times. However, we can only make changes to your Personal Information if you notify us.
